The Lunch Date

Staring down into my coffee cup 
on what may be our last lunch date
together
we chat of your infidelity

and my foolish Polly Anna Adoration

It only serves to make me remember 

better days 

like when we cleared the table
with our lust

we were so hungry for one another

and now
the check has arrived.
